Spreading The Love Becomes a 501c3 Non-Profit
After months of hard work and anticipation it's official: Spreading The Love is a 501c3 non-profit. The movement is dedicated to raising awareness and putting up a fight against bullying, the stigma surrounding mental illness, and suicide. Spreading The Love began as an anonymous Twitter account in October 2013 and has since grown significantly, nearly reaching the milestone of 100,000 followers. The account has provided support for thousands of individuals from across the globe and is expanding to other social media sites as well. It is used as both a support system and a site for spreading awareness and education. Many projects are currently in the works for the new non-profit and supporters can expect a lot from the movement in 2017.
